Lawson
North Side
Waterfalls on a tributary of Blue Mountains Creek
Small waterfall in the creek that flows into Lawson Pool.
Alternative name - Tom Thumb Falls.
Alternative name - Christabel Falls
Alternative Name - Cecelia Falls
This waterfall is harder to reach than the others. Below Frederica
Falls, there is the remains of a side track that leaves the main
track to Empire Pass and goes down to the creek. The track later
returns to the main track forming a loop. But I think a side track
existed that went up into a grotto on the east side. I think the
whole area that this side track visited was known as Lucy's Glen.
All of these waterfalls are on a track known as the "New Empire
Pass" which goes from Dantes Glen to Frederica Falls. The track was
opened on Empire Day, 1913.
