Above - A very big climb and very wet weather that afternoon - and I
arrived here at Preval - a shepherds hut with food and
accommodation. All the food I had here was home made and very good.
Above - More wet weather the next day meant the salamanders were
out. I only walked for two hours to the next hut - and on the way
saw three of these colourful creatures.

Above - A "source" (spring) at an old mine. According to a local
legend the water turns to gold at certain times.
Above - I soon arrive at Roblekov
Dom - and shelter from the rain.

Above - The next morning the weather is clear. Snow has fallen
overnight. Lake Bled on the left and the Julian Alps (Triglav is the
high summit)
