The fungi identifications here that I made are only amateurish - and
I would appreciate any additions or corrections.
These photos were taken on a walk from Thornleigh to Macquarie Park
along the Great North Walk
Above - Clavulinopsis sulcata
Above - Cortinarius rotundisporus

Above - I found lots of these all along the upper part of
the river. Small round fluffy balls. About 10 - 15 mm across. On the
dirt and on leaf litter

Above - Ramaria sp
Above - This is much larger than the small white fluffy
blobs. This seems to be a type of pin mould. Perhaps 20 cm high.
Above - I found these strange things near the base of a
tree. Perhaps a type of spine fungi? Perhaps Hydnellum sp or
Craterellus sp?
Above - Perhaps Mycena aff. epipterygia?
Above - Armillaria sp

Above - Coltricia cinnamomea
Above - There were quite a few holes indicative of
bandicoots digging for truffles. This one however was quite deep -
perhaps 30 cm deep.
Above - Russula rosea
Above - Growing out of the dirt bank on the side of the
track near Porters Ck - a slime mould?
Above - A nice fly on the fungus
