Th St James Walkway is a fairly easy walk through great scenery. I had
walked part of it before on trips to and from Nelson Lakes - and I was
keen to see the rest of it.
Day 1 - Lewis Pass Highway to Boyle Flats Hut
I caught a bus from Christchurch to Boyle River- arriving close to
midday and then started walking along the walkway. I was by myself on
this trip - so only photos of the scenery and flowers. At the huts the
number of people each night was - 11, 1, 3, 3.
