Above - We headed out via this river valley. The log spanning the river provided a good bridge

Above - Looking up at a peak above the valley

Above - This part of the valley had been affected by volcanic erruptions.

Above - We crossed the river at this spot - this was quite a tricky and dangerous operation!

Above - Further down   we used this bridge to cross a side river.

Above - Further down the valley - local farmers were very hospitable - inviting us inside for mate and cake. We then regained the road and hitched back to Coyhaique.
