- The Long Tarns
Day 1
We had travelled by bus from Hobart to Deloraine and then by taxi
to the start of Higgs Track. In the late afternoon, we walked up
the track and spent the first night in Lady Lake Hut.
Above - near Lady Lake Hut is a patterned peat bog consisting of
flarks (the pools) and strings (the land between the pools)

Day 2
Above - It was a misty morning with drizzle.

We walked from Lady Lake to Lake Nameless and spent the afternoon
and the night in the hut at Lake Nameless
Day 3

Above - on the way to the Walls of Jerusalem we passed through this
beautiful alpine country
