Black Bluff is the highest point north of Cradle Mountain and the
coast, The Penguin to Cradle Track passes close to its summit. We
approached it from another track - via Winterbrook Falls and the Eye
of the Needle from the east.
Party - Shane, Alicson, Dave
Above - The walk began with a short section of closed road. It then
followed the path of an old tramway through forest. The tramway was
once used to take out King Billy Pine logs from the base of the
mountain.

called the "Eye of the Needle"
