I was invited by my brother in law, Shane, to join the walk he was leading for the North West Walking Club. The plan was to go to The Walls of Jerusalem and walk to Lake Thor via the Golden Gate to camp. From there was would do a day trip to climb Mersey Crag and Turrana Bluff then return to the camp. The third day, we would walk back via the Central Valley. The walk went as planned expect we realised that to also visit Mersey Crag as well as Turrana Bluff would be too long a day.
