On the last night we spent in the Labyrinth - it snowed. We retreated
down to the Valley and walked south.

We reached Lake Tahune hut in the afternoon and climbed the peak in
mist later on. It was easy walking in soft snow. The next morning - we
woke up to a clear morning. The snow was frozen hard and it would have
been impossible to climb the peak without crampons or an ice axe - but
we were able to stand in our footprints from the day before - and climb
the peak again.
