This was a very pleasant weekend spent in the Blue Mountains. Si Lu had orhanised it as a welcome back to our fuirend Stacey, who recently returned from a long stint overseas. And it was also time to celebrate Meri's birthday.

On the Friday evening, I went up the mountains with Digi Dave. We camped at Perrys Lookdown in order to photograph the dawn. Then, after a hsort visit to Pulpit Rock Lookout, we headed to Asgard Plateau where we met up with a lot of the others. We did a walk to Thor Head and the old mine. We later camped at Mt Wilson - where a lot more people joined us. On Sunday, many in the party went climbing at Mt York. Digi Dave, John and Chuin Nee with baby Jasper went to Rigby Hill and the the Botanic Gardens at Mt Wilson.
