Our original intention was to go canyoning - but after consulting
the weather forecast, we decided to go a waterfall walk instead. I
suggested the Loop from Leura Cascades to Leura Falls and Leura
Forest, then to Katoomba Falls and then back along the tops to Leura
Cascades. As it turned out is rained most of the day. The
waterfalsl were spectacular but photography in the rain was very
trying.

Above - near Marguerite Cascades we spotted this very nice spine
fungus - Hericium coralloides

Above - the cascade between the two large waterfalls that make up
Katoomba Falls. This was a very wet place!
