Red Gum Park Walk - 24 December 2015

I started this short walk at Bullaburra via Noble Street to De
Quency Street and then down the track at the end of that street. The
park is small but very interesting.
Above - I saw three of these structures, which look to me like
aboriginal wells

Above - Red Gums - Angophora costata. The park is named
after these trees. The land was once owned by Sir Henry Parkes.

Above - nearby is this dam which was once a swimming pool. The dam
wall was deliberately broken when the water became too polluted due
to a piggery and septic tanks in the catchment.
