Above - near the start of this canyon was a dark tunnel

Above - the tunnel ended above an abseil into this fine section of narrow canyon

Above - canyon formation - we managed to avoid swimming by doing some spiderman type bridging

Above - Rob on an abseil

Above - Chuin Nee on the same abseil

Above - Rik hunts out a belay point while some of the others stand
below. We later spotted a large death adder very close to where the
others were standing. Rik's belay tree on the right was found to have a
very hard pull down - so we repositioned the rope to another tree
further down on the left. Some of us had to climb out from near the
death adder - and on the way we passed very close to a tiger snake!

Above - enjoying lunch at the end of the canyon

Above - Rachel and John M (in goggles to avoid smoke!)

Above - Looking down from our pass out. The canyon we visited is on the right. Another canyon flows down the creek on the left.
