This was a very pleasant and relaxing weekend spent in Wollangambe Canyon. We visited one of the lower sections - below the "Greg" Section and continued downstream through some very nice canyon sections.

Just as it was starting to get late - the creek entered another section of canyon. At one place there was a large boulder blockage that could not be avoided by finding a passage between the boulders. On previous trips - I had waterjumped this drop (about 3 metres) and on a later trip -  I had found a bypass using a ledge on the right side. This involved a very narrow squeeze.

Above - Careful downclimbing is needed here - the scrambling is somewhat exposed.

The bypass took us into a nice dry cave. With plenty of dry driftwood - it was a good place to spend the night.
