MTB - Great Northern Road (Wisemans Ferry) - 14 Aug 2005

A great day of fine weather with some nice wildflowers to admire on the
way. Dave Oslington and myself went for a ride up the Old Great
Northern Road from Wisemans Ferry. We rode up about 26 kms, had lunch
and then turned back.

Above - On this trip we rode out to this point, a bit north of Mt
Baxter and had lunch before riding back. On the way back we detoured
around the monastery by using a fireroad that followed along a ridge.
It was a bit of a rollercoaster - and I don't know if we saved anything
going that way.
