Cabramatta - Prospect Reservoir Loop - 1 November 2009

Audrey and Richie organised this ride. It was my first time out in this area - and we all had a great time riding on excellent cycle paths. The total distance was about 42 kms.

Above - the closed section of cycleway had just been re-opened! See the www.canalreserve.org website for more details - the cycleway and part of the historic canal are under threat by the Boral Quarry!!! The cycleway is only re-opened for part of the weekend at present.

Above - Then we joined the railway line trail - back to Cabramatta



Above - But we stopped for some cool drinks at the German-Austrian Club

We then rode into Cabramatta and had a nice Vietnamese dinner....
