Tasmania - The Overland Track - 22 - April - 1 May 2017

I like to visit the Reserve (Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park) during late April. This is the time of the year that the native deciduous beech leaves change colour and also a good time to see   a lot of colourful fungi. I spent 10 days walking in the Reserve. The main part of the walk was The Overland Track, but I also was fortunate to spend some time in Pine Valley and up in the Labyrinth in the Du Cane Range.

I was accompanied on the first day and night of the walk by my sister and brother in law (and many thanks for a lift to the start and for the loan of some important items of gear that I forgot)
