We then enjoyed rally nice smoked fish brought along by Chuin Nee.
Then it was time for dessert.

Above - Martin found this small red belly black snake in the canyon.
It was very cold and unable to move. He carried it out and placed it
in a warm area near the creek upstream of the canyon.
Above - the snake seemed to revive a bit, but we thought it was
likely to die. It seemed to have spinal injuries - so perhaps had
fallen into the canyon.
