Page 2 - Saturday Evening
We found a very sheltered place below "The Room" and had our campfire
and party there. It was a cold and windy evening - and it did rain and
sleet for brief periods. But we all had a great party. People had
brought along some fantastic food to share..... and there was plenty of
wine.....
The evening began with some platters of biscuits, dips, cheeses, vine
leaves, smoked salmon, feta and caramelised onion dainties, egg and
bacon pies, tuna bakes, pate's (from Audrey's villiage in France!)...
plenty of food to keep us going....

Above - Chuin Nee had cooked an ocean trout - which together with
potatoes and salads made an excellent main course.
Above - Steffy had made some yummy chocolate birthday cakes
Above - Enmoore and Stu had prepared some fondue..... (the chocolate
birthday cake, with chocolate icing, dipped in the chocolate fondue was
exceptional.....)
And - then there was Burnsie's pavlova and Kim's cup cakes..... Nobody
went hungry!!
Above - John said "More wine Dave", I replied "Yes, a little, thanks"
Above - John kept the fire stoked.
