Above - Cologne on the Rhine. I went to the city to visit my friend Regina - who I had done a lot of climbing
with while she was doing research work at Sydney University back in
2005 and 2006. I thank her (and her boyfreind David) for their
hospitality and for showing me the city and suggesting places to visit.
As well, on the second night I was there - Tina, another friend came
down from Dortmund to meet us - and we had a very nice evening together
in a pub sampling the local beer and food.

The remaining photos are taken in or outside the Dom - the large gothic
cathedral at Cologne. This was a most impressive buidling and well
worth visiting.
