Visit to Europe - 2008

During September and October 2008 I spent nearly six weeks in Europe - mainly Italy and Switzerland. The main purpose was to complete two long walks - The Alta Via 2 ( Alte Vie 2 or Dolomiti Hohenweg 2) in the Dolomite Mountains of Italy and the Alpine Pass Route (Sargans to Montreux) - mainly in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. After these walks I visited friends in Switzerland, Germany and France.
