Day 1 - Higgs Track - Lady Lake Hut
The taxi from Deloraine (fixed cost $70) dropped me off at the start of
Higgs Track at about 3pm. It took about an hour to walk uphill to the
plateau. At the top it was only a short distance to the very
comfortable Lady Lake Hut.

Day 2 - Lady Lake Hut to Lake Nameless
It was raining on this day - and I only walked for about 90 minutes to
the shelter of Ironstone Hut at Lake Nameless.

Day 3 - Lake Nameless to The Long Tarns
It was raining again this day - but not as wet as the day before. I had
a pleasant time on the first part of this excellent off-track walk
heading towards the Walls of Jerusalem. The country is generally very
open and it is easy to navigate and find a good route through this
labyrinth of many lakes.

Day 4 - Long Tarns to the Walls of Jerusalem
More pleasant off-track walking
Above - the after effects of a big bushfire many years before (early
1960's ?). When I first walked through this area around 1980 - it was
like an atomic bomb blast zone. The burnt trees still remain - but at
least some soil and shrubs are now present.
