Another day at Long Reef, and different to some recent visits – a Nankeen Kestrel was around (and two of them briefly) as well as Osprey and a Sea Eagle.

When I arrived, I walked down to the lower level below the lookout. No Ospreys were about, but a Nankeen Kestrel was hunting nearby.

Every now and then an Osprey would appear. This one is hunting for fish –

No luck.

Another dive.

But it pulled out early.

Back to the Nankeen Kestrel –

And another Osprey appears.

But the Osprey does not stay. So back to the Nankeen Kestrel –

Two Ospreys now –

I saw that one landed on a rock near the island. The tide is low, so I make my way out.

I wait for it to take off.

It is disturbed by the second Osprey flying around.

Time for it to take off. I had been waiting for about 40 minutes.

This Osprey is ding for fish –

I left by waling back via the north side of the Headland. On the way I spotted a White-bellied Sea Eagle in an altercation with an Osprey.

And I spot one Osprey perched on the cliffs –
