Cabramatta - Chipping Norton Lakes Loop - 7 November 2009

The weekend before I had been on a ride on a ride to the west of Cabramatta and that had been very enjoyable. So I decided to explore some more of the cycleways in the area.

I rode from Cabramatta to Canley Vale then headed towards Prosepct Creek hoping to pick up a cycleway (I hadn't printed out one of the maps on this website). I eventually did pick up the cycleway - and from there it was easy to follow except for near Carramar Station.

A map of my ride is located here.

Above - After I rode back to Cabramatta - I still had some energy - so I decided to ride out to Prospect Reservoir via the same route as the weekend before. This time the gate at the dam was closed! So I had to do a long detour to get around back onto the cycleway. The first loop was about 29km. The total ride was about 70km.
