I joined the Tempe Birdos for their monthly bird survey. The month I was a member of the group that surveyed at Tempe Reserve.

The Little Heron was skulking in the mangroves and we saw it suddenly take off and fly over to the other side. I was disappointed not to get a better shot, but we later spotted it flying back.
