I visited Barton Park for an hour or two in the morning and later visited Sydney Park in the afternoon. Both were fairly quiet on my visits.
Barton Park
Here are some of the birds –
Pied Stilt
Willie Wagtail
I noticed that a lot of wasps were active all over the place.
Chestnut Teal
Superb Fairy-wren
Brown Goshawk
The Goshawk was circling very high overhead.
Then I noticed there was a second one –
Another hunter – a Welcome Swallow –
The Swallow seems to be using the airflow to force the insect down to its stomach.
Yellow Thornbill
Red-browed FinchÂ
Pied Stilt
