A Few Birds at Sydney Park – 13 March 2024

I had some time in the middle of the day, and made a fairly quick visit to Sydney Park. Here are some birds I saw –

Dusky Moorhen

Australasian Darters

Little Black Cormorant

Australasian Darter

Crested Pigeon

I think this is likely to be the sae Crested Pigeon I had seen at this spot last year with a foot tangled up with some sort of thread.

Australasian Grebe

Little Black Cormorant

In the bottom pond, a Royal Spoonbill was foraging.

Three other birds were close to the Spoonbill waiting for it to stir upside food that they may grab. One was this White-faced Heron

And there were two Little Black Cormorants hoping for some easy pickings.
