Tasmania – Goat Island Reserve – 27 and 30 April 2024

While I was visiting my sister and brother in law in Tasmania, I made two visits to the coast near their house. They live close to the Goat Island Reserve – a beautiful section of the north coast of Tasmania that is noted for its wildlife and geological features.

Goat Island can be walked out to in low tide, and is a very interesting place to visit. Here is a selection of photos –

    there is crown lease on Little Dog Island up ATM i see….wait…i put Nadgee into your search box and — nothing! What ! ;] one place where geographically momentarilly challenged looking ofr the track once saw one of those tassie birds fly up str8 in fron of me you know those yellowish ones. the recent fire form Coota wrought havoc and not sure about Dingo survivla in nadgee either — but ya gotta do that walk one day m8 — i took old mate Cook’s log with me and like Burning Palms in the Natio – is or was exactly as described. speaking of Burning Palms, my Old Man reckoned he saw a cave painting of a tall ship in a cave there about 1967, but i have never heard of that ever again
