On Boxing Day each year - a group of us head out into the Wollemi
Wilderness for some remote canyoning. Often we return to favorite
canyons and throw in a bit of exploration as well. This year, was a
return to our roots - looking for new canyons. There had been a lot of
rain in the period just before Xmas and it was also raining a little on
Boxing Day when we set out.
The photos are spread out on four pages -
Page 2 - covers a deep and exciting new
canyon
Page 3 - the walk out from the new canyon
a the moving of our base camp
Page 4 - exploring two more new canyons
and there is a short video of some of the trip on YouTube here.
Rik organised the trip and chose likely looking creeks for us to
explore.
