Fungi at Chatswood – Ferndale Park and Blue Gum Reserve – 10 July 2026

I headed up to Chatswood with the intention of visiting two areas – Ferndale Park and Blue Gum Reserve. Both are bushland remnants that lie in tributaries of  the Land Cove River. I was looking for interesting fungi to photograph.

I did not find that much fungi out, and I had to look carefully for what I did find. Here are some photos –

Tremella mesenterica seems to be associated with another fungus – the black Hypoxylon bovei
