Greenway Bird Survey – 26 June 2021

I had intended to attend a fungal survey at Mt Wilson, but at the time, due to Covid, I was restricted to travel only in the metropolitan area. But, that meant I was able to attend the local bird survey along the Greenway near Waratah Mills light rain station.

Yellow-faced Honeyeater

It was a beautiful morning – fine and sunny, and a lot of birds were out and singing. We saw quite a few honeyeaters – mainly New Holland Honeyeaters, but also a few Yellow-faced Honeyeaters.

We also saw. twice, a Brown Goshawk, but it flew past too quickly for a photograph.
