Coorongooba Labyrinth Canyoning - 26 - 31 December 2007

• Day 1 - We set off from the cars and visited a short canyon.
• Day 2 - Some of the party visited a nearby long, narrow and spectacular canyon. We then climbed out of the first creek system, crossed a ridge and visited a long and beautiful canyon and some of its tributaries
• Day 3 - Most of the party visited two nearby canyons. The first had about 10 abseils down a series of slots. The second canyon we visited was a new one to us - and proved to be quite committing and very spectacular.
• Day 4 - We walked down a large creek a few kilometres and on the way explored another new canyon - this one quite short. Later in the afternoon - most of the party visited another deep and dark canyon.
• Day 5 - We started to head back via another canyon system. We reversed a short, but deep and dark canyon on the way. Then some of the party visited a small side canyon. We then crossed a ridge and dropped into another canyon system. We descended an easy canyon then briefly explored the lower part of one of these canyons.
• Day 6 - We split into two groups - each visiting nearby canyons. I was in the group that went all the way down the canyon we had partly walked up the day before. Then we walked up another very nice canyon before the  trip ended.
