Bob and myself travelled up to Kings Tableland to look at a number of Aboriginal art sites. Most of these were in caves on the side of a fairly remote ridge. But the walk was well worth it – as the art was amazing.

We visited five art sites during our visit.
Site 1
This was a small cave, and we found two red ochre hand stencils on the roof –

Site 2
This was another quite small cave, further along the same cliffline. Even though it was small. it was full of faint art. Most of it in charcoal.

Here is Bob in the small cave –

Site 3
This was a larger overhang with a lot of art.

Some panels had many layers of art.

Site 4
This was another long overhang full of art.

This was a small cave. We found a single charcoal artwork –

Site 6
This was on another part of the Kings Tableland, and featured some engravings.
