I decided to do a local walk along the Two Valleys Track – starting on Wolli Creek at Bexley North and then following Wolli Creek to the Cooks River, then walking upstream to Illawarra Road. The forecast was for a hot day, so I set off fairly early and then took my time.
The first part of her walk was very quite – bird wise. I think they were all shlerting from the heat.

The Flying Foxes were quite active.

I am now on the Cooks River. I spotted this nesting Tawny Frogmouth at Gough Whitlam Park.
