Wolli Creek Nature Walk – 20 April 2024

In the afternoon, I headed to Wolli Creek Regional Park for a Nature walk. I was on the lookout for fungi, and also birds.

I did find some fungi. The amount out, is not huge – but better than previously.

Polypore

Entoloma sp.

Omphalotus nidiformis

These were in Girrahween Park. I also saw this Grey Butcherbird

And further upstream at Paperbark Creek, I saw this Grey Fantail

Back to the fungi –

Coprinopsis sp.

Mycena sp.

Oudemansiella gigaspora group

Polypore

Amanita sp.

Amanita farinacea

Cortinarius sp.

Hygrocybe austropratensis

Coral Fungi

Hygrocybe taekeri

Coral Fungi

Tremella sp.

Amanita sp.

This was a relatively short trip, and it was nice to see an improvement in the fungi.
