I had originally placed to visit Birdwood Gully at Springwood – for a fungi photography trip. But the rail system had failed then day before due to power supply issues which were still not fixed. So instead, I did a local trip accessible by bus. This was another visit to Wolli Creek Regional Park.
On the previous visit, I had spotted some of the light blue Entoloma virescens group. But that had been down near Nanny Goat Hill. This visit, I spotted a single one close to Girrahween Park.

Here are some more of there fungi I found –
Cantharellus concinnus

Further down the valley, I found a lot of green waxcaps out. Many very small.
Gliophorus graminicolor

Clavulinopsis sp.

And the Hygrocybe taekeri I had found on the previous visit was still out –

Russula sp.

In one place, I spotted these small cups – Aleurina ferruginea –

And these were the same ones I had seen before –
Entoloma virescens group
