I wanted an update on how some of the fungi I had seen two days earlier in Lane Cove National Park was going.

Walking into the park, I spotted this beautiful coral fungus growing right next to the bitumen road –
Ramaria sp.

The two fresh Parrot Waxcaps (Gliophorus psittacinus group) that I had seen two days earlier had fallen to pieces. Probably due to a short but heavy rainstorm the day before this visit. But I did find two new ones. They were both quite small, but fresh.

And here are some old ones –

I then had a look at the nearby coral fungi.
