I spent a pleasant hour or two alone the Cooks River between Illawarra Road and Gough Whitlam Park. As usual, I was looking for kingfishers to photograph, but on this visit, I did not spot any, but I did meet two people, who had seen some earlier. They are readers of this blog and had been alerted to the presence of Sacred Kingfishers from some of my posts. It was nice to get this feedback.
