I was able to take part in the Wolli Creek bird survey. We survey from Girrahween Park to the Flying Fox Camp and back.
Here are some of the birds saw –
Sacred Kingfisher
Magpie Lark
Crested Pigeon
New Holland Honeyeater
Eastern Rosella
Red Wattlebird
White Browed Scrubwren
Variegated Fairy Wren
Water Dragons
Golden Whistler
At the old swimming pool, there were some flowering rock orchids.
Tongue Orchid – Dendrobium linguiforme
And there were a number of Eastern Yellow Robins.
