    Hi David,
Great photographs. We live in the area and see these birds but rarely up close, so it’s lovely to see the detail in your photos. I was wondering if you could tell me when the Birdos meet next, as my partner and I would like to join them.

The next Greenway bird survey is the Dulwich Hill section of the Greenway. Meeting at Davis St, near the Waratah Mills Light Rail Station at 7:30 am on Saturday 27th June (4th Saturday of the month). The section of the Greenway between Taverners Hill and Hawthorne along the Greenway is on the second Wednesday of the month, meeting at Taverners Hill Light Rail Station at 7:30 am (the next survey is 8 July). New people are most welcome, and there are binoculars that can be borrowed if you don’t have your own. The surveys last for about 2 hours with coffee at a cafe to finish. There are other groups nearby doing bird surveys along the Cooks River (The Mudlarks) and at Tempe (Tempe Birdos).
