I went back to Wolli Creek for another look, particularly to see the Hygrocybes again.
As it turned out – there was very little change to the red Hygrocybes – some had been partly eaten by animals, but there had been no new ones nor much in the way of growth of the existing fruiting bodies that I had seen on the previous visit. They were tiny then and tiny still.
There was however some other fungi that had appeared. In particular more boletes.
More photos, together with my attempts at identification are online here.
