I took part in the bird survey along the Hawthorne Canal section of the Greenway. The weather was a bit wet and gloomy and so we did not see as many birds as we often do. This was certainly the case at Taverners Hill Light Rail Station.

Here are some of the birds we saw –
Pacific Black Duck

These ducks are very common, but not that common along the Hawthorne Canal.
