Wolli Creek Birds – 29 July 2025

I had some time free in the morning and was keen to go outdoors, so I headed over to Earlwood for a quick visit to Wolli Creek Regional Park. I was interested to see if any fungi was out – but found virtually none. So I concentrated on some of the birds.

I just photographed a beautiful male Golden Whistler

And here is a Silvereye

Laughing Kookaburra

And a few updates on infrastructure.

A new fence and gate has been placed on the sewer that crosses the creek. Access to the concrete bridge is good for looking for birds. At present the gate is unlocked.

And at the Hartill-Law Bridge – a new track is being constructed underneath the bridge. This looks good.
