Birds at the Sydney Botanic Gardens – 13 May 2026

After the Greenway Bird Survey, I caught a tram to Central and then a train to Martin Place where I met Sue, and we then headed to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Our main aim was to see if we could spot any of the resident Powerful Owls. Despite a lot of looking we had no luck.

We then headed down to the pond with the island that cormorants like to nest in. There were still plenty around. All Little Black Cormorants.
