It’s currently wildflower season and a good place to see a great display is the Curra Moors in Royal National Park. Plus – the track has recently been reopened after a long period of track work. So I joined Bob, Doug, Nipper and Airdrie on a walk around the Curra Moors loop.
As well as wild flowers, there are many birds to be seen on the Curra Moors and the loop would take us to the dramatic sea cliffs near Eagle Rock.
At the Curra Moors car park, we already spotted a number of Caladenia sp. Orchid.

The track was very good now. In the past, walkers would have to negotiate a deep eroded trench.

It was very windy on the coastline and we retreated to a sheltered spot for lunch. We spotted another raptor flying past. This one was an Osprey.
