Out with the Mudlarks – 8 Oct 2019

This was a day with two bird activities. It began, early in the morning with the Mudlarks monthly bird survey along the Cooks River.

Striated Heron

Here are some of the birds that we saw –

Magpie Larks

A number were nesting – either sitting on eggs or bringing back food.

Olive-backed Oriole

Channel-billed Cuckoo (with Pied Currawong)

Welcome Swallow

Australasian Figbirds

Caspian Tern

Great Cormorants

White-faced Heron
