Rain was forecast, but looking at the rain radar, showed there was not that much rain falling in the inner west of Sydney, so I decided to make another visit to Sydney Park for some more bird photography. The bids I ended up photographing were very similar to what I had seen on my other recent trips. One new observation was a Little Grassbird.
Here are some photos –
Little Black Cormorant
Australian Reed-Warbler
Australasian Darter
Pied Stilt
Chestnut Teal
Little Grassbird
Welcome Swallows
These wee the most abundant birds on my visit.
And a rather large eel and a turtle –
It had been a nice visit, and the rain had mainly held off.
