Wolli Creek Walk – 1 May 2020

This was another exercise walk down part of the Two Valleys Track along Wolli Creek. This time I walked from Bexley North to Turrella Reserve, and then back to Girrahween Park and Earlwood.

Not that much was out – birds nor fungi.

The only fungus of interest that I found was this polypore. I think it is Abortiporus beniensis. It was growing in the exact sam place that I had seen it growing a few months ago.

Here are a few birds –

lower down the track, just below the climbing area is an old swimming pool. It was interesting to see that it now has a depth marker.

Also a number of Greenhood Orchids are starting to come out.

Lastly, a couple of Earth Stars –
