Lane Cove Valley Fungi – 14 June 2020

I spent an interesting day wandering along a section of the Lane Cove Valley and Terrys Creek looking for fungi.

I started off at an area I had found some nice waxcaps – what I think are Parrot Waxcaps –Gliophorus psitacinus var. psittacinus. I found a few still out –

This waxcap can change colour. This one is orange –

Nearby were some nice coral fungi –

I left this area and continued along the river. I found some nice outcrops of Ramaria filicola

And there were lots of Cortinarius out. Here are some –

And there were also some nice orchids –

And here are some Sundews –

I didn’t find that much fungi out along Terrys Creek. Except for corals – and there were a lot. Here is a selection of Terrys Ck fungi –
