This was a nice walk I did by myself through the Lane Cove National Park. This is a walk that is easy to do via public transport.
I started out at Thornleigh Station and walked a short way to Thorneigh Oval and then set off down the Great North Walk Track – down the valley.
It was quite pleasant walking through nice bushland along a clear and well marked track. Some fungi was out and they provided photographic subjects. Not many other walkers were out in what was a very fine day. I saw a few runners and a guy doing a bird survey for the National Parks. Further along there were lot more people.
I followed the Great North Walk all the way to Fullers Bridge and then went to Chatswood mainly on bush trails (Blue Gum Reserve and Ferndale Reserve).
